I met one of those kids

At a meeting a couple weeks ago I met a man named Peter who grew up in Uganda and was sponsored through Compassion International.  He was one of those kids that some family or person sponsored by sending a monthly check.  It was so astonishing and inspiring to meet someone who grew up in the program.  He said that Compassion paid his school fees and his medical bills without which he would have had no education and no access to medical treatment. 

So, for all you sponsors out there, thanks for doing what you're doing.  Thanks for giving and providing such wonderful opportunities to the children around the world.
